TRICIA MERRICK

Tricia is a New York-based film, television and commercial actor whose work is rooted in emotional honesty, curiosity and connection.  She is drawn to stories that explore the richness of the human experience and to characters who are layered, resilient and deeply authentic.

As the star in many high school musicals and singing groups, teenage Tricia thought for sure her future would take her to a musical theatre career on Broadway.  What happened instead was surgery to remove polyps on her vocal cords and 4 years at a liberal arts college. 

​

When Tricia graduated from college, she became a sales rep for Xerox Corporation in Manhattan. It took several years for her to realize that knocking on doors while trying to sell office equipment wasn’t the plan she’d had in mind.  She returned to her acting roots while raising 3 children and serving as Volunteer Chair for a PGA golf tournament for several years.  As life went on, she became the Care Manager to a parent and 2 elderly aunts.  All of these life experiences have been invaluable in shaping her view on humanity and informing her craft.

Tricia can be seen on TV in Law and Order: SVU, The Artist, All Hail Beth and The Purge, as well as in a number of films and shorts such as Mon Heroine, Self Fulfilling Prophecy, Redemption in Cherry Springs, The Scent of Water and Intermedium.
